"For improved fuel efficiency, the new model makes use of an aluminum platform and lightweight materials which are said to give the Range Rover a curb weight of under 650-750lbs than the current version. In terms of power, the Range Rover will utilize a tweaked version of the current-gen's 4.4-liter turbo diesel V8 and 5.0-liter supercharged V8. The British brand will also make a supercharged V6 engine available for the SUV, sourced from the Jaguar F-Type and rated at 375hp."

Will they really have a 3 engine option for the UK, or will we loose the 5.0 litre for the UK market if the V6 is a supercharger ? Can't imagine why they need 3 engine options unless they were offering eco green battery power |

To be honest, whilst a 5.5L V8SC will fly, I believe in the L405 the 4.4L TDV8 will be the overall engine of choice. It's no slug in the L322 so I think it will be rapid. |

Those big holes under the headlights just really soil the looks. |
