sorry - couldn't resist.

It's coming guys. It's not going to do anyone much good if we have to release 10 versions. Christian and Patrick are doing all they can to try to get this out to everyone asap.

Just a bit more patience with us please.

Does anybody know if the latest update mentioned above is out as yet and if it definitely does turn off the TPMS system. I have been waiting to buy an IID Tool until it can reconfigure the door locking settings and turn off the TPMS system, I will be very glad to see the back of the TPMS warning light which appears to have a mind of it's own!

Thanks, Jon.

Hi Jon,
No, the update has not yet been released and yes, it will def turn off the TPMS. Just FYI: the IIDTools on the shelf at dealers have an earlier FW version. So you will likely have to update the FW even if you wait till the release is out before purchasing. But doing the update only involves logging in to the GAP website, downloading an EXE file, plugging the IIDTool into your PC via USB, and running th file. Even with a slow internet connection it shouldn't take more than 1-2 mins.

I will post here as soon as there is info on the release of the update.

Oh Happiest of Days Very Happy

I have been playing with the beta release firmware for the IDTool and have switched off the easy entry and exit feature on the steering wheel - it now simply stays where I put it unless I move it with the stalk.

It did have a mind of it's own and now it's been lobotomised 1:0 to me I think. Shocked Geoff

Perfect, thanks for the quick responses, i won't have to have the TPMS fixed now i will just turn it off for good!

Steve, Thanks for the info re the updating. Just out of interest is there a list anywhere of exactly which options the new release will be able to enable / disable, i am quite interested to see exactly what changes i may be able to make to my FFRR.

I have been a tester for the last few weeks using the latest software update.

This was already a handy tool, but the boys at GAP have worked wonders to enable the extra options.

The CCF can be changed at will, speed locking, Anti hijack, beeping, window and sun roof closure, PDC, FBH, AUX, Cameras and after nearly a year without bluetooth, it is now enabled and working!

Thumbs Up

As a quick explanation for some of the betas who may not yet have V 2.17: we decided to split the betas into 'phases' to keep from having to respond to the same problems numerous times. These problems usually arise because we do not have all LR/RR models with all options available to test on in-house. We chose the betas who were most responsive with their feedback and also based on the vehicle types/options we needed to test on.

If anyone wants to become part of the early phase group - please let us know (mail to GAPTeam@ our web address - not a PM here please). We are not trying to exclude anyone, just ease the workload and expedite the development process.

Just used v2.17 ... fantastic .... managed to:

- lower the suspension so that it goes in my garage without catching the shark fin
- get the steering wheel to retract properly on closure
- set speed locking
- set chirp on arm / disarm (which even the dealer couldn't do!)

Fantastic piece of equipment .... Stephen Gazard

Thanks, Stephen!

Stan,
The early L322 (02-05) can be lowered or raised as you want: either all (access, standard, etc) or at each height setting individually (access, standard, etc). In addition, you can change the vehicles attitude, as in standard height you have the options front, rear, or both together.

The later L322 (06>) can only be raised or lowered 'en block' - that is all height settings together. We hope to implement a separate adjustment option for these vehicles later.
