I would certainly use a good independent (who specialises in Land Rovers) outside of the warranty period - but finding one in Staffordshire is a quest.
Personally, I wouldn't use them during the warranty period as I wouldn't want any hassle getting a warranty claim settled. The main dealers, not surprisingly like warranty work so the service is normally pretty good.  Don't mistake my snoring for a lack of interest?

I explained to the supplying dealer principal that I couldn't manage the time required to have it serviced by them and he has told me that I can book it in later for any warranty work required.  The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom
