So after months of looking I now have a 58 plate TDV8 Vogue in Stornoway Grey, my first ever RR! Very nice car!

My last car was an Audi A3 3.2, which felt like driving along the floor, compared to the RR. My only issue as such is that it's a bit hairy driving around corners or bends, anything much over 30 / 40 feels like it'll topple over! Will that feeling go away with confidence, and can it be pulled around the bends without too many problems?

That feeling won't leave you as long as you wing it round bends at speed , centre of gravity dictates how soon you'll be on your side driving in that style … not so much 30 / 40 .. thats just a taster , wait till you wing it round at 70 / 80 .. now thats Butt clenching stuff ...  ====================================

Had it a week now, got in this afternoon to see a leak at the top of the drivers side A pillar, dripping and sodden headlining! Have emailed the dealership, no reply as of yet. Any ideas what that might be? Seal at the top of the screen?

My earlier L322 had a leak in very nearly the same place - wet headlining, occasional drip landing on speedo binacle etc.

The mastic seal around the windscreen was at fault (probably replacement windscreen fitted badly during previous ownership maybe?) Anyhow... the problem took months to get sorted back and forth from dealership because they couldn't locate exact leak - even when spraying hose on problem area???

Turns out the leak would only occur if the vehicle was parked downward facing on a slight hill - even then (with water being hosed) it took at least ten minutes before any drips started to form.

They claimed they fixed the fault by removing and refitting the screen - but I think they just squirted some more sealant in the problem area ... they did replace the heading though which was handy 'cause it was pretty mucky

There's a chip in the windscreen so they have said they will replace the screen, they said that they will do this leak at the same time.

that sounds like a pretty good result.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

As for feeling like the car will topple over on corners..

It's impossible. If you go in to a corner too fast, you'll just slide on the leather seats. If you're going stupidly fast, you will get some under steer like a hatchback... but it will never fall over.

Getting more used to it now, as above I go a bit slower into the corners, but once in the corner itself I found that you can really power out of the bend.

Went on the motorway today, how effortless was that!

Exactly. I guarantee a L322 will roll over given the right circumstances.

Especially given the width, take a corner too fast+run wide>touch of understeer+clip opposite kerb=shiny side down.
