i am at a loss then. all i can suggest is go through the diagram for the fuse box again, both front and rear, it should be there somewhere, even if it is a shared fuse with other items.

if not ask your dealer as it is such a new car.

good luck, let us know how you get on. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

2003 Range Rover SE Td6 Zambezi Silver

I got my remote fitted today Thumbs Up I installed T90 receiver and T91 remote. Pairing works like a charm with glovebox fuse or just by unplugging/plugging remove and pressing key for few seconds - as described in Wiki. After verifying with multimeter that remote & receiver works, I had an indie to activate parking heating option with T4 - 5 min job and remote works. Park heater activation also enabled two timer settings and manual "heat on" function from MID (I don't have NAV). T90+T91 gives impressive range, works from 600m of snowy forest.

Like discussed in D3 forums, also FFRR remote gives +12v to FBH pin1 (=pin3 in connector in trunk), no W-bus signals etc. FFRR trunk connector have pin1 +12v, pin3 signal to FBH & pin6 GND, T90 receiver just connects pins 1 & 3.

sorry to start all this again!! i kept the remotes when i swapped the car yesterday.

tried pulling the fuse (59) leaving for 10/15 secs, putting it back in and pressing the off button on the remote.................................................. nothing Sad

went into the boot, removed the three screws holding the rear fuse box so that i could get access to the module on the rear, i have read that some of you got things to work by removing the plug from the T90 module.

this is the question though, how do you remove the power plug from the T90 module??

either i am losing my marbles or there is a knack to it. i looked for a tab to press/pull but nothing.

could someone who has reoved/fitted this plug please advise me.

after the problems i had getting both remotes working on the last FFRR i was hoping for an easy ride on my new one. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

Got it!!!... Very Happy

Like some others pulling the fuse on a TDV8 doesn't seem to work and in fact i tested the timer via the on screen display with the fuse out and it still worked????

Anyway i removed the power plug from the Webasto T90 module in the boot and hey presto two remotes paired and working fully, ready for the snow next week!!!... Rolling with laughter

The power plug is a bit of a pig as the securing tab is near the bottom of it and you will need something small to insert down the front of the plug to depress it and then pull it out.

Happy again!! Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

Hi

I'd be interested in learning more about connecting the FBH remote to a gsm dialler - how does that work then?

Thanks

Andy

Best thing is to go to the Webasto website read all the info, then find your nearest dealer and speak with them!
Text modules are not new, I have been using one in my caravan for a couple of years so I can turn the heating on and find out my battery voltages etc etc Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

I'm getting as frustrated as other posters on this thread about the pairing of a new T91 remote....!!

I've followed all of the processes given - pulling fuse 59 in Glovebox (doesn't work) and then removing the rear fusebox and disconnecting the power to the receiver (a bit fiddly) but this doesn't work either.

Can't think what to try next??

Car is a MY2008 TDV8.

I have a T90 remote that works fine.

Yehhhhhhh happy days.

Purchased a T91 on the whim that the wife's FFRR had all that was needed to work a T91 remote so this afternoon I removed the fuse board from the rear and behind it was the controller.

I removed the power plug, waited and plugged it back in while pressing the off button on the remote, at first no go but on the 3rd attempt it worked a treat.

So remote up and running.

Thanks all. Range Rover quotes.....

An old thread but I am having a problem getting the power plug out of the FBH receiver. It's the one shown on dan uk's 12th post down on the first page.

I can't see any locking clips and don't want to force it. Anyone any ideas? TIA. John

The retainer is in the middle of the plug from memory, what I do is gently push an electricians screwdriver up the front side of the plug which is usually enough to release the catch and using the ends of the plug for grip gently pull it down and out of its housing.

Good luck.. Thumbs Up Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

Thanks, Stu. Thumbs Up Will have a look later. Gave up for a while as it is a bit of a contortion to get to over the tailgate and I'm not so supple as I was. Very Happy John
