Been for a drive and got my engine oil from Halfords, and for each 5ltrs you get a free set of screwdrivers.

Fitted the new battery, the big fat Bosch I bought yesterday. I thought I would make getting it in a little easier by disconnecting the cable to the jump start point, as it crosses the battery. That was a good plan, poorly executed as the plastic cover fell off and went under the battery tray which had to be unbolted and then some tricky work with a wire coat hanger and a torch to fish it out.

Yes - it's the computer testing the bulbs - with filament bulbs they don't flicker because the voltage is low and only applied for a split second - but LEDs light up and flicker. Navcoder will sort that - go into the LCM and switch off cold monitoring of the bulbs you've changed to LEDs. |
