Been for a drive and got my engine oil from Halfords, and for each 5ltrs you get a free set of screwdrivers.
Made two seperate transactions (buying 10 litres), so have two sets of screwdrivers! Very Happy

Fitted a new battery

Fitted the new battery, the big fat Bosch Censored I bought yesterday. I thought I would make getting it in a little easier by disconnecting the cable to the jump start point, as it crosses the battery. That was a good plan, poorly executed as the plastic cover fell off and went under the battery tray which had to be unbolted and then some tricky work with a wire coat hanger and a torch to fish it out.

But the battery went in fine after all that and although snug, fits in my 2007 with absolutely no issues although there is no space to spare at either side.Very Happy Geoff

I changed my 501's (side lights) to LED's .... is the flickering normal with lights off? These are can bus ones......

Yes - it's the computer testing the bulbs - with filament bulbs they don't flicker because the voltage is low and only applied for a split second - but LEDs light up and flicker.

Navcoder will sort that - go into the LCM and switch off cold monitoring of the bulbs you've changed to LEDs.
