My wife is 5'0" and likes side steps, as it means she can get in the car easily even in a tight skirt.

Current Mrs Andy is 5'2" she uses the access height button as its a bit of a climb without. I dont like side steps also but car came with side bars, I am 6'4" so dont need either but never get pants dirty off the bars. As the guys said they are to narrow and slippy really. Unless you put some of the Treadsafe grippysurface tape where you would stand? just a thought. I stand on them for washing the roof. Mine was a blue one! |

Why not put a bar on her side only? |

Ok. Thanks. It seems like they probably don't do what I want anyway, unless I put some grip tape on them and that will look a bit daft. |

On a plus side for side bars, I pulled out of space a while back and totally and forgot there was a concrete bollard near the back.
