Part number 11127799225 seems to be listed for the BMW M57 and 1127799366 for the Vortex unit by itself.

Hi shaun.Have seen pn 11127799225 fr m57n while td6 is m57 and really donot know the differences other than the cc.
Others saying that TD6 has the exact same filter/housing with TD4.From various forums on TD4 is fitted the 11127799224.
But now more confused.
Believe only a guy who has replaced the old type filter/housing with the new one will be able to give the correct pn.Hope that will read threat and reply

Chaps,

I did just the filter swap for the vortex cone.

From Stratstone BMW, part number 11127799367 "Oil Seperator"

It was £23.35 inc VAT.

Dropped straight in.

Just the "filter" though, not the entire unit, but you don't have to change the entire unit if you don't want to.

The M47 is the BMW 2.0D, as fitted to the Td4 Freelander and 320d etc.

I understnd the same breather unit fits the M57 engines as well.

It should fit. I only did the filter part.

Hope this helps.

Bought the new vortex type breather 11127799224.Housing is ok but oil sepertor doesnot fit on TD6.Oil separator has a cap on top left side while said gap should be in the middle order fit.Obviously if u want to buy oil separator 11127799367 with housing the correct part nr is not the one ending to "224"
Anyway since i had it in my hands i made a new small gap to the right position and fitted it but there was black smoke during accelaration so returned back to the old type.
