I think there may be an issue with your misfuel guard as I cant see mine when it is reset, your looks partially triggered to me 56 TDV8 Vogue SE 9 Freelanders, 2x 2002 TD4ES, 2001 TD4, 2002 1.8GS, 2000 XEDI, 2x 2000 1.8ES, 2004 1.8 & 2000 1.8 GS (rolled) 91 Lotus Carlton (sold) 90 Lotus Elan (BRG) |

Also, if you open up the picture of mine full size and zoom into the spout, there are 2 pegs on either side of the filler neck, and these are what prevents the fuel nozzle going further in. Is everyone's like this?

I've just zoomed in and its certainly in the UP or partial up as its displaying the handbook 'I' which shouldn't be seen.

I had a similar problem with my TDV8 when i got it a couple of month ago, I found the reset tool got the misfuel device to the point you have there. I found I had to put something down (3ft socket extension bar is what I used) the fuel filler to give the yellow bit a light shove and it down clicked out of sight 56 TDV8 Vogue SE
