Can't help with the first part (which video?), but second part is normal after battery disconnect.

there is a nack to removing the air bag, i use a allen key just a bit smaller then the hole.as you push in the nack is to push down on the air bag at the end you are doing,it may not spring up first time so go on to the other side and do the same ..it will spring up..dont worry about the sus fault it will clear its self, done it on my car just the same..
