Very squeaky brakes again when travelling from stand still to around 35 mph. I'd removed all 4 sets of pads in Oct time, cleaned up the pistons (not corrosion or pitting) & re-coppered greased the back of the pads but it only seems a short term fix.

Could be, or it might just be crap pads. I fitted new recommended inexpensive pads to my FFRR last summer and they squeal like pigs on a spit. I'm going to buy decent pads and bin the ones I have |

As already said, most likely to be crap pads. I've been there done it time and time a again thinking "I'll save a few quid and buy the cheaper pads, they cant make that much of a difference" and normally end up with squealing pads.

Cut a diagonal edge off the leading edge of each pad and see if this helps. Also have you tried braking hard from about 50-0 a few times, where safe, and without the abs kicking in to help clear the pads??
