My 2010 Autobiography has damped opening of lower tailgate (a small hydraulic strut on the right side stops it just falling open). My 2007 4.2S/C Vogue SE didn't have it. Is it a 2011MY thing or an Autobiog thing? |

Can't it be retrofitted to earlier models easily ? |

Looks like it would be simple to retrofit. |

I don't to hand as I'm at home. Just ask for the three items from a 322 11.5MY facelift, I'm sure most dealers have sold many already.

Do the holes for the bracket need drilling or do they exist already? |

so you unlock and let the tailgate come down on its own, or do you still have to hold it.. ... - .- -.

Press the lower tailgate release button (different style button cover on 2010MY+) and it will come down on its own. |
