I believe so. Think they corrode under the covering, so you don’t know till it’s too late 🤣

Hi all, mine has the lower tailgate damper fitted as standard but noticed that it was 'bubbling' when fully open so ordered a replacement (to tell the truth my dog noticed it and was staring at it yesterday while she sat in the boot, which was impressive as the bubbles are tiny).

Answered my own question, they just pop off with a flat screwdriver under the clip at each end.
