Just been looking over the pics properly Mick and she looks good.

Not sure i could get used to the new seat style though, I've got used to feeling a stitch seam in the back of my head now while driving Very Happy

I'm two days into owning my 2011 4.4 TDV8 after selling my SC. I was concerned I would miss the characteristics of the SC but no..the 4.4 and 8 speed box, 31mpg so far and a ride that is limo like has reassured me that I completely made the right choice. I have the Vogue seats with heated and cooled function. So far they are very comfortable but on the SC the back of the seat adjusted so it supported your shoulders, this isn't a function of my new seats. Crying or Very sad Current MY2020

Slight niggle i have even though i have read the stuff about it in the manual , when i drive off the central door locking engages , but when i stop and park up , to get out i have to pull on the door handle twice before the door will open .

Have also went into the screen settings to see if this can be de activated ... Rolling Eyes ====================================

Mine does that Mick, but because I wanted it to. Thumbs Up

You should be able to access it from the steering wheel button in "Vehicle Set Up" on the menu. something like Drive Away Locking.....then click to de-select

Mine did that Mick and I did exactly what Rolo said and now doesn't lock.

I'm trying to find a setting for day running lights, preferably side lights only....anyone know?? Current MY2020

apparantly they won't have these until either next year or perhaps only on the L405

I thought mine had them when they drove it out the showroom as they were on, but it was just the sales guy being a poser with the twinkly little led's on for side lights Rolling with laughter

If you turn the lamp switch all the way round that's on auto, so they'll go on & off as it gets dark / light.

There's no way to set the LED 'signature lights' as day lights, only turning the switch to 'side lights' every time you get in. They aren't DRLs as they are not bright enough.

Ref door locks - bloody annoying I know. I'm used to BMWs that will unlock when you take the smart key out of the ignition, they unlock. Just got used to pressing the door unlock button now as I feel drive away locking is a must.

Ref pulling twice - very BMW-esque. The door locks are in fact BMW and unlike Mercedes, they require the two-pull to open. This is for safety I believe.

Mick, standard Land Rover steps complete with front mud flap of something different?

How about deployable steps? They do the job but I wouldn't want to drive off road with them. Current MY2020

Disco 3 does this too. Works fine. Dunno why the FF doesn't. Graham
