Mick, my old SC had side steps but my new TDV8 hasn't. The little ones in the family have nearly perfected the 'run and jump' method of entry, failing that they will have to try the 'Fosbury Flop'. I'm going to resist putting on side steps as I like the clean lines without the steps, just mud flaps.

I'm trying to find an iPhone cradle that fits in the top of the centre box...let me know if you come across one.

The dual screen is amazing, but I get neck strain watching TV as I drive! Current MY2020

Lovely motor Mick.

You can map the TDV8's 3.6 through the diagnostic ports still. Well worth doing. Used to have:
2005 FFRR 4.4 Vogue - BRC LPG Conversion & Remapped

Now have:
2008 SSRR 3.6 TDV8 - HSE and plenty of toys

@ AMD know the feeling as like yours i also had the steps on the SC , plus like yourself trying to hold back from getting them … Whistle

Laughing Laughing at the dual screen remark …

@ JustinP and alanm_3 cheers for the comments …. one comparison so far is the difference in petrol v diesel costs … Thumbs Up ====================================

V nice Thumbs Up

Leather is 100% Jet (black) as Charcoal dropped for 10my. Only grey option was Storm which was a reasonably light grey, and far lighter than Charcoal.

Unless I'm missing something, it's exactly the same.

Well i test drove the 4.4 and to me the materials used for the seating were not as firm or supportive as in my old Vogue SE , the 4.4 is an awesone machine engine wise but as i said the interior seating materials kind of lets it down and i am not the only one that thought this
So in my opinion they are not the same ====================================
