Just wondering what your opinions would be on FFRR's for sale at Auction Houses , would you buy a FFRR from them or do you think you would be better buying from a well known garage / dealer .

Auctions are daunting experience even for Dealers and personally I avoid them like the plague. There simply is not enough time to properly inspect the cars as the doors are only opened when the drivers sets off for the sale hall.

I am not saying that good cars cannot be had just that its a risky business. Lots of people will not buy private let alone auction. If you're up for it give it a go... |

I've got a TDV8 3.6, I didn't think it had a timing belt that needed replacing just a timing chain - does than need replacing? What intervals? Geoff |
