Would be good to have access to all LR parts as when you click on a section (say D3 Electrics) you get zero results even though there are many parts in that section!

I thought your site was good, in fact a damn sight better than most.

Easy to find what I needed anyway.
Thumbs Up

Hi Dan,

Your site is great from a customers prospective, I found what I wanted quickly, browsed everything else easily and enjoyably..

But I can see a big problem for the business side of things which is getting the customer in the first place, there's a few things that need looking at..

I noticed products don't have their own unique page.. for example here

http://www.duckworthparts.co.uk/landrover/...erior.html

This is very bad for getting customers to your site..

Each product needs to have it's own page, for example the top item is "Premium Carpet Mat Set "

If it had it's own unique page with the page title being "Land Rover Range Rover L322 | Premium Carpet Mat Set" and then the same again in a header on the page, you will end up higher on google for those keywords..

Also keep a pattern for the page title of everything in that category.. example:

"Land Rover Range Rover L322 | Premium Carpet Mat Set"
"Land Rover Range Rover L322 | Flexible Loadspace Protector"
"Land Rover Range Rover L322 | Cargo Barrier Full Height"
"Land Rover Range Rover L322 | Barrier Half Height "
"Land Rover Range Rover L322 | Luggage Nets"

etc..

This will make you rank higher over all for Land Rover, range rover, and l322 at the same time as saying what car the product is for.. so If I search for L322 luggage nets.. you should pop up

Reaching first position will double the hits you would get from being 4th or 5th etc, once people find the product, buying it or not will depend on price, if you are price matched to the cheapest competitor then there is little more you can do Thumbs Up

Finally once you have unique pages for everything.. start adding them to google product search. This can be a real nightmare to do automatically since starting this month they require tons of information like shipping costs and category, code numbers etc.. I'd recommend doing each product manually, just for the products that have the most demand.

On the odd occasion that I've used it, I found it hard to find stuff. For example, I thought maybe a set of winter wheels would be good to have, but it took ages to find "wheel and tyre packages" even though I knew you had some. It turns out they're in the "special offers" section, which is counter intuitive (for me at least).

Also, you only seem to have a partial parts list, which means most of the time if I'm looking for a part I'm disappointed and have to either ring up or use the parts enquiry form.

Magic, drop me an email danroberts@duckworthlandrover.co.uk we export to Aus

-----

with regards to the parts on the actual site, i've basically taken a list of top selling parts as such for each model and listed them,
we aim to get as many parts on our site as possible, obviously this is a rather time consuming process especially with photos. So bare with me on that Thumbs Up

If the parts didn't have a photo or say a diagram taken from microcat, would you be less inclined to buy? You can paypal direct using - www.paypal.me/duckworthparts
