I put in a new Bosch 110 Ah battery a couple of weeks back. Previously had no issues with starting, except I got the HDC error if I left the car few days. Few weeks back however the Radio stopped working and so did the Sat Nav, but engine still started on the button. Anyhow, before I got around to looking at the Radio issue the car just died and failed to start at all. Popped the new battery in (that’s v.much to the poster with eh Eurocar parts discount code ) and massive transformation. Radio and Satnav all good now. Engine was sounding like an old Taxi is now much quieter, and when I looked at the mpg after 1.5weeks of driving, it had gone up from 22.3mpg to 25.2mpg. Don’t know if maybe the sensors don’t give back the correct voltage or same such when the battery is very low, and it runs sort of out of tune, but it has transformed the car – would never have believed it if I had not seen it… |

After 2 jump starts in a week I had a genuine LR new battery fitted and definitely noticed a smoother and quieter drive. |
