I've been using Patronas Syntium 5000 FJ from Opie Oils, I usually wait until they have a 15% off deal, always got a couple of oil services on hand.
Reckon I get 4-5K miles before the Service Required indicator comes up.
My Indy does a while you wait Oil and filter Service for me for about a £100, so with the oil in about £155-60.

If they didn't have the annoying electrical gremlins, they'd probably be the best cars in the world.......or is that Carlsberg!
(Sorry, you need to be a certain age to remember that lager commercial)

Book says JLR.651.5003 or XLC. The only one I can find which directly says it’s that spec is Mannol AF12+

Yep, got that 👍🏻 So that shows the Ford spec too….. WSS-M97B44-D but not the LR spec….

So I reckon anything have the Ford spec would be fine given it’s a Ford engine, Plenty of those about….. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

JLR recommended Coolant

It’s in the WM for both V6 and V8 engines:

I use Halfords OAT. The amount I get through, I can't be spending a fortune on it.
