It also only comes on once between engine starts, so if you had bene playing with it prior to today it would disable it, assuming the engine hadn't been started in the period.

Yeh started and moved it yesterday after it was working. Also went for a good drive today to check that was not the issue. |

Yes it was -1 this morning. And about 2 deg when I went for a drive and tried again. I can clear the fault codes but they keep coming back. |

If I need to tackle these 1 by 1 is the auxiliary heater control module the one that the remote operates in the boot or is there another module? And are the flame sensor and overheat sensor just part of the burner or can they be fixed? Just strange I had no fault codes after changing the pump and all working now these faults. |

All those faults are in the FBH. It has its own ECU.

Thanks so do you think it could just be a fuse? If so do you happen to know which one? Or more than likely a replacement heater. |

I don't think it's the fuse for you. In my experience that would give you a B129A-88 code (LIN Bus "D" - Bus off).

I can confirm It was 4 deg last night around midnight, I had been charging via ctek I removed leads and started car to move from garage to front of house. It was very quiet and for the first time when I switched off the engine, I heard and smelled the FBH was operating. Not really noticed it before its so quite. And here in Norfolk not seen any snow this year 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue |
