Yes they are the ones, unfortunately I'm not with the car so I can't send you a picture. Borrowed Grey 2002 3d 204k for a year

Did you replace them Andy? Did it resolve the issue? I have the same issue, only when cold. It started with a cracked inlet manifold which I have temporarily bodged. I have found an EGR leak and have ordered blanking plates for both ends. I couldn't see any bubbles / holes on anything else when checking. |

hi i did get same code , turns out was crack manifold, and it happened in the middle of my europe trip 2k miles in 😂 , fix with some super glue and baking soda 🤣🤣
Hi Johnny, thanks for the photos. I did pay the garage to replace the valve cover/ inlet but I still have the error. Im guessing they cocked it up and cant be arsed fixing it. I dont know. I don't mind paying , but when it doesn't fix it and they say they don't know whats wrong with it what do you do ? cheers Andy |

Ive had the same problem since I bought ours back in 2019. I've just learned to live with it now. Sometimes it won't do it for 500 miles then other times, it's every time I go to work.

Check your valve cover for cracks properly, I found mine coz I spotted an oil mist around crack area , there should be no oil whatsoever.

I had the same problem on a 3.6, I changed all of the cheap bits and also a cracked manifold but had no improvement. I couldn't justify chucking any more money at it so I had the fault code written out.

I am having the exact same issue on my 3.6 TDV8 that I have been living with for the last 3 years. Always happens on long hills where the engine is loaded at lower RPMs. Dropping a gear on known hills that trigger the limp mode always helps.
