I can easily supply the belts, each belt will do this mod at least 3 times. Just checking with Stan where I stand re: forum rules etc. Geoff |

I've had the go ahead from Stan if you want a drive belt please gift £1 via PayPal to geoffsmi@gmail.com and put your address in the comments and I'll post 'em out. The £1 is for p&p and the belt.

Now that's a top idea, mine bust and never thought about replacing or fixing it as my other motors don't have this kind of set up, but I like the fix If it dont work.......burn it!

Good point re black paint but I was in a rush, also it's not a self tapper it's a threaded screw (M4) that fits perfectly tightly in the hole (oh err missis) and is tightened so the thing still swivels. I think a self tapper would do in fact thinking about it I have some black ones - doh! Geoff |

Thanks Craig - its a mod to simply stop the filler cap from falling to the ground and maybe even getting lost or broken - it works and it looks better than a bit of snapped rubber. Black paint and shrink wrap notwithstanding
