I have one I am selling if interested. It doesn’t work perfectly for the rear air vents with the 2013.

Hi BORA20, thanks for answering. I'm surprised the climate unit doesn't work properly as it's just a 1 plug and play. Do you think it's the unit or the year of your car 2013?? Looks like you also installed the upgraded infotainment system as well. Does that work properly and did you install t yourself?? I looked at the videos and it scared thew hell out of me. Mike |

Everything works proper except for the rear ceiling vents for some reason. I’m sure it’s a 2013 compatibility issue. The heated and cooled seats work front and rear, the front HVAC works, the screen menus work properly.

Yes I did it myself (with some guidance from GaryRRs posts) - wasn't too difficult, in fact the only ticky part was getting the head unit back in with all the new wiring harness behind it - but a little patience and it was done. I didn't pay anything like £2k for mine - I posted in the other thread on the topic that they were around £750 mark for both screens. For the DSP stuff, you can still access the original OE system (its displayed on the new screen) so you retain ALL of the original features and settings - just change the DSP settings via the 'old' system - Once its up and running the press the Car symbol and you will see this...
and then

Ah, that looks good. So basically all the old functions and side buttons are replicated on the new screen.

Correct - thats the only reason I went for it as I wanted to keep all the original system stuff in case I wanted some of them.
