Today we’re cruising up the motorway in our 4.4TDV8 and restricted performance comes on. We reached our destination slowly and plugged in IID and discovered code U3003-17 Battery Voltage general electrical failure circuit voltage above threshold and then 90 minutes later U3003-16 voltage below threshold. Cleared the faults and all good so far. Any thoughts please on this? Searched the codes but can’t see any threads already.

I’d strongly suspect the alternator if the voltages are swinging outside the normal range. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
