If the lights go out the system has detected a fault. It may be the ATC unit itself that has gone faulty.

I’ve had diagnostics run on the vehicle and it shows the air-con evaporator temperature sensor has failed and both heated seat temperature sensors have also failed

Mystery solved I now know why the heated seats don’t work; they’re not plugged in.

there should be one big plug at the front "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

The wiring harness that power the seat motors are plugged into this big plug. i cannot see where the heated seat circuit plugs into |

there are only four nuts that hold the seat in, take the seat out and have a proper look.. |
