Is cargo cover for l322 2011 different size than l322 2007?

I have acquired a 4.4 TDV8 2011 without the rear cargo cover. I took my cargo cover from the old 3.6 TDV8 2007 and it does not fit.
The cover does not look to have been changed or modified in any way, the vehicles as well.
I am pretty sure nobody rolled over with the car before I acquired it so the boot size should be from factory.

If I push it to fit from one side:

Then it does not fit with a like a centimeter from the other, difficult to see on the picture but it does not fit:

And while you are here, I found some yellow stick in my trunk that I did not have with my 3.6, does anyone know what it is about?

And I found as well something that the previous owner left, not sure it is from the car at all but nevertheless asking just in case that is a mysterious and rarely used part of the range rover:

Thanks!

The parcel shelf should fit. There is nothing different between the 2007 and 2011 in the boot area.... Confused

The 'yellow stick' is a device for use if the fuel filler neck closes to avoid a mis-fuel. It reopens the path for a diesel nozzle to go into the neck of the tank. You will need it if you stick an unleaded nozzle into the filler by mistake. You should have had one of these in your 3.6 as well. Wink

The last item isn't an L322 part that I'm aware of. Looks like some kind of kids game controllers or something such like. Confused

I'd be most concerned about the reason for the non-fitting of the parcel shelf. Are you sure it's seated correctly with the pins in the guides? The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

Does the new car have reclining rear seats ?

There's a different parcel shelf for the reclining vs fixed rear seats.

Fifteen years of L322 ownership, but I've never been posh enough to have reclining rear seats! Whistle The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

Yep, the seats are reclining, it's the autobiography black version.
I reclined them to the front limit just to test it but still does not fit. So the journey to find the right cover begins Smile l322 2011 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Black

Thanks! That should be particularly useful as I have the fuel filler neck blocked already.
I did not try of course to fill with petrol but I heard stories that a lot of nozzles at our gas station are old or in bad shape and that could cause such issue.
I spent 10 minutes filling half a tank yesterday Wink l322 2011 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Black

off-topic, nice pic, my favorite movie, cheers!
regarding posh - the interior of my car looks fit for a posh oligarch Smile but it was the only model on the market that had the adaptive cruise control and I went for it fully conscious I will get mocked about the car Very Happy l322 2011 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Black
