I have tried searching the forum and am still a bit stumped, in fact I am getting so confused just trying to find the correct parts that I need to order to do a full disc, pad, fitting kit and wear sensor replacement on my RR.

I see so many different parts and different part numbers and just when I think I may have sussed it out I get stumped with yet another option of 'Performance or Standard' brakes, how can I tell?

I have a 2019 FFRR Autobiography 4.4 Diesel. My front callipers are grey and have the 'Range Rover' logo stamped on them (no mention of Brembo so I am guessing that version I can ignore?).

Without actually taking the wheels off and taking photos, measurements and trying to match things up is there an easy way to tell if they are 'Performance' or 'Standard'?

Apologies if I am over thinking this but this will be my first bit of DIY on a vehicle I own for many, many years and slowly getting back into doing the basic things so want to get this right first time.

Post a picture through the wheel. I believe they are the six piston front calipers. We don’t have the 4.4SDV8 in 🇨🇦.

The RR doesn’t have Brembo on them, but they are Brembo. The RRS sometimes has Brembo on them. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

I think you will have the same callipers as I do. I had an issue with finding the correct pin and spring kit. It seems that some sites don't list the newer part numbers - listing the older part numbers as correct.

On the top of page 5 there is a photo the 2 different pins. The one on the left is the one that I needed. You can see the difference by looking at them you just need to remove your wheel.

The pads I got from EBC. The wear sensor was also a different version than listed on some sites - I will see if I can find the receipt with the part numbers. SDV8 AB MY 2020

I put Brembos on mine you can find the ones for yours on their site (Part Number ) Then I ordered from AutoDoc. overfinch modified

Be careful looking at part numbers on websites even on the Brembo site. For the SDV8 they don’t list the 2018-2022 as an option. I don’t think many were made. These callipers are different to the ones from the 2013-2017. For some parts you can look at the 5L V8 2018-2022. Otherwise it will be the MD computer which can give the correct part number. SDV8 AB MY 2020

Yeah this is what is making this all so confusing is being able to correctly identify for the 2019 L405 4.4 because, as you say, sometimes they dont list this year and other sites specify 'BREMBO brakes ONLY' or the usual 'Standard' or 'Performance' brakes. It is mind numbing. I suppose I will just have to get a front and rear wheel off and take some picks to be sure OR see if a main dealer will be kind enough to give me part numbers, although the last time I tried that they were very, very unhelpful and wouldn't tell me.

Land Rover have only ever fitted one type of 6 pot caliper from the introduction in 2009 "which superseded the 4 pots" right up to currant day and they are all made by Brembo. The part numbers however do change based on model year, whether painted or not etc, but they are regardless of differing part numbers all the same caliper as long as they have 6 pots. 2010 RR Autobiography 5.0 SC

If you look at the thread on my front brakes. They changed the 6 pot retaining pins between the 2013-2017 to the 2018 on wards. Both are 6 pot Brembo callipers but are different. SDV8 AB MY 2020

I've had issues with non-genuine brake parts in the past, so these days just stick to genuine parts. Nothing super serious, just annoying squealing & excessive dust.

Try Robin @ Duckworth's & give him your VIN number - I was pleasantly surprised at the prices.

The calipers were JLR refurb/exchange, again from eBay, absolutely fine:
