Typical, I had this issue on my 2011 S/C and bought the pipe and a new condenser, coulnd't find any information on the swap... parked it... Then wrote my S/C off a couple of months ago.

It’s does seem these a/c systems are made of chocolate… Though if you’ve thought the same as me, it’s probably one of those I’ll get on with and give it a go. Good shout re the plusgas, small price to pay if it makes it any easier. Cheers 2009 facelift L322 3.6 TDV8 - Buckingham Blue |

Haha yes indeed! I also ordered the dryer as the system was open for a little while. From memory it wasn't expensive, around £25.

If you're going to this effort to sort your air con and you've got no record of it ever having had a new condenser, I'd swap that out as well personally.
