Hi Guys, still learning with my new car! Trying out the global opening and closing! using the key fob and holding the unlock button all four windows open as does the sunroof all good!
Then I hold the lock button and the two front windows and the sunroof close, the two rear windows remain open! I have switched the rear lock button from the drivers door on and off to see if it makes any difference, it doesn’t!
Any ideas? I do have the gap tool.

You might need to re program the rears for the one touch close function to work properly first as that is the function of the window that the remote will ask the car to do when holding the lock button down.


One touch opening of a window may not need programming as it is safer … iei anything in the way of the window will only get more space around it from opening.

One touch closure will always need programmed as the car closely monitors the speed of the window coming up to detect any obstructions. V8 or else ...

I don't know whether it always works like this, but as part of the battery replacement procedure, it states - "Reset electric window one-touch facility. Power window up to hard stop, release switch, reapply and hold for 1 second (relay in door will click). One touch should now work"

I changed my batteries today - and the one touch was reset (off). I managed to get the rears working but not the fronts. I can confirm at this point that global closing only closed the rears. After a bit of perseverance, I got the fronts working again and global closing now does them all.

TBH I'm not sure what got them there, I had the ignition on & off a few times and tried the window reset with various options including locking & unlocking the car. They all work now though
