Sulphated Ash is the value. Not sure companies do recommend oil that is not to spec as if you put in the exact vehicle into both Castrol and liquid Moly sites it comes back with the right oil. The owners manual is also very clear so not sure why selecting the correct oil is difficult or complicated. BTW fuel adatives won’t remove ash from the DPF. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Hey Jaydee

So after checking the tool shed I realised when I researched this before I actually used a different spec oil compared to what the site recommended for the 4.4TDV8 2010-2012

So on the Liqui Moly product I used Top Tec 4500 5W-30 which is specific to Acea C1, Jag/Land Rover STJLR.03.05 and Ford WSS-M2C 934-B
