Odd Instrument panel warning lights

Hello, i have 2002 td6.

Ignition key off, these warning lights will remain.

With motor running also these lights go on.

I had water ingress on passenger side (right side in finland).
Which ECU could cause this problem, i have run odb scanner, and no solution.

Sorry about my bad english, but i am from Finland 😅

Welcome to the best L322 place on the internet Smile

Please test your battery, and the all the cables to the battery, you need clean tight connections and an excellent top quality battery, there are many faults/errors that seem to pop up when the battery on our L322's is not in top condition.

well now you have the LCM out, have you cleaned the PCB, they get corroded and fail, so carefully clean it with PCB cleaner and a soft toothbrush, do you know that the backup Odometer is part of the LCM, so a new one would need to be programmed up for your car

Phoenix reminded me of this
and I quote "the LCM holds the backup odometer reading and VIN record, if not coded correctly or the data is at variance with the IPK, it'll force the manipulation point on the IPK. IIRC, the LCM is a 'suck, blow' configuration rather than just a 'code to vehicle'

There is a guy in England who can repair your LCM if you cannot get it working

First Photo with ignition off

The green light is Cruise Control Active - Green
NB when the ignition is on - turn off the Cruise Control button on the left hand side of the steering wheel and see if it stays on when you switch the ignition off

Red light is just Seat Belt not plugged in, plug it in and see what happens, it should go out after 5 seconds

Above the Seat Belt sign is the EBA ( Emergency Brake Assist ) light, this could be a fault with the EBA system

Second photo with ignition turned on

The red light far left is the Battery Charging light and should go out when you start the engine and start driving

The middle Amber light is DSC ( Dynamic Stability Control ) - this could be the DSC button is pressed on, so turn it off, it the light still stays on after driving for a few minutes a fault has been detected with the DSC, this is very common if the DSC has not been used for a few years

Above the green Cruise Control light is the Handbrake System Red Light, this comes on when the handbrake is applied - it should go out when you release the handbrake

NB All of this is in your Range Rover Owners Handbook Smile

Have you cleaned inside the LCM yet, there is a PCB which often fails if it is not super clean
