I have got a coolant leak which I am having trouble locating. I took off all the under trays in order to get a better view and I can now see it dripping but I don’t know which component has failed. I am hoping one of you may have experienced something similar.
This is a 2010 3.6 TDV8.
I have taken a few photos, but the leak seems to coming from the passenger side (RHD) of the engine bay between the exhaust manifold heatshield and the body. Any ideas?

Unsure if the 3.6 is the same coolant pipe wise but my 4.4 l322 had stainless pipes running down the n/s just above the chassis a several pin holes appear under pressure and leaks. There is a post somewhere on here if you do a search and replacement advice and cost  2016 4.4 diesel

Thanks! Yikes, I think you’re correct. £700 for that part is a complete p***take. I can get a fabricator to make me a copy for about a quarter of that. Then there’s the question of why JLR designed a part for the cooling system that isn’t resistant to coolant🤬🤬! 2018 L405 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

If you search further you will see that someone repaired there’s with a length of rubber hose. Which is exactly how I did mine. Bought about a three metre length,used less than a quarter of a metre. But fixed the leak all the same  2016 4.4 diesel
