I used this trim restorer on mine a few years ago and surprisingly it is still black.

All I'll say is it will take less time to remove it than it does to mask it up, you will also get a better job done off the car. If you do do it on the car don't forget to put paper under the vent, inside the bonnet....

OK, thanks for the comments all. I have decided to take @nicedayforit's suggestion and give trim restorer one last try.

How did this work out? I too am fed up with the light grey/white plastic look that returns every 3-4 months after using plastic trim restorer on it! |
