Clip? The electrical connector? The bracket can be a pain….

Some plugs have 6 pins and some have 3, make sure they match.

So you can’t get the connector to go into the new height sensor?

Make sure they both have the same number of pins as i imagine they won’t connect otherwise. Did mine over a year ago so can’t remember exactly, but I don’t think that was the hard bit for me, can’t remember if you have to press a clip to push it on, but don’t think so. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Yes, best to attack it again tomorrow, snow permitting. Save getting too annoyed with it. Did you get a genuine one? Though should still fit. I think one side may have curved edges so it will only fit one way, but you will be beyond that stage I imagine…. Can’t think of anything else… sorry…

They are not easy to remove and I had one that was not locked in properly which caused an intermittent adaptive dynamics fault . I blasted out the socket and plug with WD40 and got it to latch which not only resulted in no more faults but also a much smoother ride...... 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Yea genuine Range Rover part ,the old one was a bit to get off contacts cleaned with electrically cleaner, the contact will slid onto sensor but just won’t go in far enough for clips on the side to engage and hold in place
