yea the electrical connector............got the old sensor off ,new one on but the connector is another thing |

So you can’t get the connector to go into the new height sensor?

yea 3 pin ,there are clips to hold connector secularly on to the sensor .it just wont clip in going to have a another go tomorrow(depending on weather ) |

Yes, best to attack it again tomorrow, snow permitting. Save getting too annoyed with it. Did you get a genuine one? Though should still fit. I think one side may have curved edges so it will only fit one way, but you will be beyond that stage I imagine…. Can’t think of anything else… sorry…

They are not easy to remove and I had one that was not locked in properly which caused an intermittent adaptive dynamics fault . I blasted out the socket and plug with WD40 and got it to latch which not only resulted in no more faults but also a much smoother ride...... 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Yea genuine Range Rover part ,the old one was a bit to get off contacts cleaned with electrically cleaner,the contact will slid onto sensor but just won’t go in far enough for clips on the side to engage and hold in place |
