You need to serach for Land Rover, and then "like" the page. Or Just ring up and say

"i saw on facebook that you have some free Experience days"

If you don;t mention facebook, they sometimes pretent they have no idea what you're talking about.

8 of me and my friends went last time. 4 in the morning, and 4 in the afternoon. We got to swap cars and try them all if we wanted. Great day out for free Very Happy

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Java Black

I called LRE this evening after being on hold for too long at lunch time and got straight through:-) I'm now booked up for my 2nd 1/2 day at Rockingham. Last time the Rockingham grounds were closed for a private shoot, so we spent the afternoon on the very muddy slopes of a nearby quarry, fingers crossed this time we will be in Rockingham grounds itself.

Looking forwards to driving a MY11 4.4FF off road.

If you've not done this before, it's an excellent day out that really shows you what LRs are capable off, which is well beyond anything Stan, Dom and I attempted in our own vehicles on the Salisbury Plain.

Cant wait, and thanks RRUK for the tip off, I actually follow LR on facebook but had not seen this until you mentioned it Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I will take photos this time.

Went on my free Land Rover Experience Day at Rockingham Castle.

I can't believe that no one else turned up, we were the only ones there so we had the place to ourselves.

My instructor was none other than Vince Cobley's son, Luke, talk about a gift from heaven, what a great guy.

We took the 4.4 out on the road to give it the beans (He wanted to know how it compares to my TDV8 JE Remap) and although it's very smooth and sounds a little different (a hint of supercharge whine I thought) it turns out that my car was quicker Very Happy . I can't type his exact words at witnessing how fast mine was Laughing

Still, a JE Remapped 4.4 TDV8 would be even better of course.

The offroading was great fun, good to remind yourself of the sorts of things these cars can do, he also gave me a few hints and tips about my car that I never knew.

The guys at Rockingham are a friendly bunch, top marks Thumbs Up Discovery 4 HSE

I'm sure there will be another, they seem to run this Facebook promotion once a month. Make sure you call the same day next time.

Anyone who used to read (and still does) LRO and LRM magazines will have heard of him, he does off road tuition, expedition training etc. One of the stalwarts of off roading (proper off roading)

I believe he owns and runs this company
