Need some help sorting out my towbar and 7 pin connector

I have a MY2011 car with the towbar electrical connector pre-wired and in the boot shown below

Not sure if you can buy the plug that fits the boot socket on its own.

There are two alternatives available from PF Jones, a 7 and a 13 pin socket for the trailer with the boot plug fitted. you fit the tow bar socket wiring yourself. They are happy to talk over the phone about what you need.

Personally I would purchase the 13 pin unit and an adaptor for the 7S 7N .

I think the GAP can do the PDC and fog, but others may confirm, and IIRC mine when fitted was not coded but was plug and play.

I can confirm that the Gap IID can do the configuration you will have to tell which pin unit you have 13 or 7 pins which will disable the parking sensors and fog. 2017 SDV8 4.4 silicon silver AB

What about the trailer stability assist? Is this active or needs turned on too?
I did see something in the listing on the Gap site that is is only available with surround camera system, I can’t see that affecting the stability, perhaps the tow assist with the active reversing lines etc, I have that on the Disco 4 but only standard single camera on the L322, perhaps a wording mistake on their site? 2011 Disco 4
