If the steering weight changes with a cold start of a module then I suspect there's a programming bug, possibly in the module responsible for the steering but also possibly with another module that the steering module relies upon for data. You might want to check for any outstanding module updates. |

You could be right Graemes, I'm not sure how I can check that though as I do not have an IID tool these days.

Just filled up with fuel from virtually empty and straight away the ride has gone much firmer and the steering has weighted up.

Could these CAN communication codes have anything to do with my issues? |

If I were pulling my hair out like you are I’d be taking it to a specialist who works on them daily so that they can give you their thoughts on it.
