The light sensor won't affect the light output, only when they come on. It sounds to me like the headlamps are too low, possibly due to an issue with the AFS. OP, have you tried a battery disconnect/reconnect? it could be that the voltage got a bit low whilst the screen was being fitted and spiked the module when started. Obviously only a guess with no DTC's etc. |

Does the L322 have a weight load adjuster wheel, I know some of my others cars have so you can lower the beam when the back is full, wonder if that would be the case here, guessing the Range is far too clever to need something like that? Formerly happymadison1978 |

BMW electronics fitted at that age will have an integrated rain/light sensor, but that only controls the lights' automatic illumination and extinguishing points. If the lights are physically low it's most likely either the height adjuster is set low, the lights are out of adjustment, or the adjusters in the lamp units themselves have broken. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.
