I could test your solenoid for you, although it’s probably easier just to send you one to swap out and see if the problem disappears (MV2 in the photo). It’s just as likely to be the wiring harness at fault, but substituting the solenoid is a good first step.

Brilliant! How do i go about buying one from yourself? If it was the harness are you able to just swap them out?

Yes, the internal wiring harness can be swapped out as well with the transmission in situ. Replacement of the solenoid and the wiring harness are both covered in RAVE so it’s a job that Land Rover even allowed their technicians to do.

Finally got round to putting the harness & solenoid in the transmission & now it's all fully working as normal. Can finally drive longer than 10 minutes with no warning sounds! Big thanks to Phil for helping & selling me the parts. Onto the rest of the list now! |

So, the shift solenoids are the three ‘brown body’ solenoids (MV1, MV2 & MV3) and the pressure regulator solenoids have the black caps (EDS2, EDS3, EDS4 & EDS5).
