I couldn't resist ... I activated the parking heater menus from gap and voilà programmable ventilation appeared on the screen! Fantastic!!!

The Webasto also cycles the engine coolant when temperatures are near 0C or below.

If there are the right modules already in the car, as there are in the MY2010 and up, there is also the option to buy a key fob. I’ve just been through a lot of faffing about to get the correct combination of module and fob. Thankfully it now all works perfectly ( and just in time for winter ). I may post a thread on what I found worked if that doesn’t duplicate any current threads on here.
