could be the battery make thats the problem....i find duracell batterys seem to be better than others... ... - .- -.

I agree with Stan. I had a duff, still in date Duracell so it's worth trying another battery. |

Yep, try another new battery....and lock/unlock it a few times Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Think I used Panasonic when I had my TD6. Seems you need a decent brand or they don’t work so well.
