To get the best help Sir, it would be handy if you completed your profile to indicate which model Car you have, due to differences with equipment / fittings / fasteners used on various models. ie L322 / L405 |

The bolts screw into a metal insert which is pressed into the plastic body of the sensor. That insert has separated from the plastic and is now spinning along with the bolt. It won't come out without some "persuasion".

The parts catalogue for these torx bolts is wrong too... I ordered them for my RR and the bolts that arrived weren't even similar. I never got a solution so cleaned up the old ones and reused them.

Mine definitely had metal inserts and used machine screws, not self tappers.

Do you happen to know what size torx the bolts were? I’m doing my front one… got it off and the bolts are solid and I need the bracket for the new sensor….

I got some M6 bolts from Halfords which were too small.
