Never had one drop to it's bump stops after being jacked up but they do sometimes take a while to settle down..

Probably a sensor make sure they are plugged up properly |

I had a similar issue, dropping to the bump stops at random intervals with no specific fault codes. Turned out to be the n/s/r height sensor, the old one was very tight. New one fitted and all good for the last six months. 2011MY 4.4TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue
