Hi everyone,

owned my L322 since january. It’s just had some track rod work done and a new rear shock absorber done as part of the majors on the MOT.
Once collected from the garage, drove fine then when i drove it up the road later on to pop to the shops, a suspension max 30 mph warning came up and car went onto its bump stops. Got the car back home and turned ignition off and back on again and reset to normal ride height and all seemed fine. When out to try it on the road later around an hour later and touchwood, all seems to be okay with no warning lights and ride and height are fine.

Is it possible it’s just thrown a wobbly where’s it been jacked up in the garage? Or is this a sign of a bigger problem?
Any advice would be great.

Never had one drop to it's bump stops after being jacked up but they do sometimes take a while to settle down..

Do all the ride heights look OK on the 4x4 screen?
It may have been a ride height sensor with a slightly 'sticky' connection to the moving arm not used to articulating to it's extents, dropping to bump stops could have pulled it back into position....

Probably a sensor make sure they are plugged up properly

I had a similar issue, dropping to the bump stops at random intervals with no specific fault codes. Turned out to be the n/s/r height sensor, the old one was very tight. New one fitted and all good for the last six months. 2011MY 4.4TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue
