Restricted performance at 60mph (fault codes below) thoughts

Restricted performance at around 65mph, notable louder whistling than normal. Re-setts after turn off for around 5 mins.

The AA turned up and kindly told me I needed to take to a garage report below. Thumbs Up

Engine control - 7BA / Diesel EDC 17CP11P006A - Intake manifold pressure/ air mass meter. Error Message : Malfunction.P169F - This fault code can be ignored.. Error Message : Too many signal changes.P040D - Exhaust gas recirculation temperature sensor A. Error Message : Malfunction.Fault codes as stored, suspected air leak, member to take to local garage.

Any thoughts before it goes in tomorrow? Thanks in advance

Are the 4 short hoses that connect the air intake to the manifolds still the bellows type? If so then 1 or more may have developed a split.

For info m, replacement of the split manifold I’ve been quoted £396 + vat for original part and 8 hours labour at £45 a hour. I have warrenty wise 06/60 cover and I will email over the garages quote and report back. Thanks

Warrenty wise suggest it should take 1.5hrs and have covered the parts cost.

Total bill for my 2011 L322 (inc VAT) at MJ Fews (Ex MD) was £1660. This was the Pax side inlet manifold. It is tricky because all the injector leads need to come out. Mine is now working perfectly again for over a year. Not a bong or a ping!

Just seen your 1.5 hrs Shocked and raise you 6!!

They have covered 70% of the cost but I am going to challenge it.
