My 4.4 TDV8 has been showing the red triangle/restricted performance intermittently.

It only happens if I rev to approx 3k and then keep my foot down so as it changes gear I remain above 2.5k. If I rev to 3k which I do most drives to keep the 2nd turbo in use (only rev above 2k once fully warmed up) i do not get the restricted performance.

I noticed some oil gathering around the plastic intake where that strange metal clip is that holds the intake pipe to the throttle body. I have removed, cleaned including the air sensor and replaced adding 2 rubber O rings. It seems to seat nice and tight so all back together now.

Would this have caused the restricted performance as it just have been only a slight leak?

I have checked all 4 hoses to the doughnut/plenum and they are all good.

Update, I can accelerate to 3k revs and gently lift off so when the gear changes the revs are below 2.5k and mostly no light. If I put in sport and rev to 3k the restricted performance happens every time.

No smoke, perfect tickler, no missing or lumpyness. I really want to fix myself and am considering replacing both MAF sensors and the MAP sensor, is this sensible?
