Weird suspension fault.

So this one's a doozy.

Fav Jnr managed to kill his 09 3.6 so we went and bought a cheapy 06. As it turns out. It's not too bad apart from some rust. Anyway....

He's had it a couple of weeks and it's been behaving itself and driving well. Everything works and no faults. Until....

Monday morning, he sets off for Swindon, a couple of hours away, gets to Cov and the fatty spits it's dummy out, has a paddy and chucks a suspension fault. It sat on its arse at the back so Jnr. switched off aired out and did a reboot and eventually after some mucking about it all came back again and aired up.

He carried on, got another fault flash up but it cured itself. The only thing he'd done different to previously was to plug a cooler box into the boot aux socket before he set off. After he unplugged it. No more faults, at least not thus far.

Go figure.

I can't for the life of me think why plugging in an electric cool box into an aux socket would make it chuck a bing, and it's got to be coincidental. But anyone else had anything similar? Dodgy earth causing weirdness maybe? I dunno.

Contributions gratefully received....

Fav Experience is the one thing you don't get until just after you need it.
