2010-2012 Reverse Dip Mirror Cancel and when towing?

Pages 71 to 78 are missing in the downloadable owner's manual.

Can anyone tell me how to quickly cancel reverse mirror dip on a 2011? On my 2006, if I flicked the mirror select switch, it would cancel. On my 2011, it doesn't and simply lets me adjust the reverse dip mirrors (probably because both dip in reverse whereas on earlier cars, it was just the passenger side).

Also, does anyone know if this system cancels when towing I.e. if a trailer is connected, does the reverse dip not function, just like the rear parking sensors turn off? (I have fitted and hard coded my tow bar) 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Yes, I know how to permanently turn on it off however, it obviously takes 5-10 seconds to do and that doesn't quite work with traffic behind you.

I wondered if there's a way to toggle quickly, like there is on the older versions. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

This might not be of much use, unless you are a good reverser…. But if you exceed 7mph in reverse, the come back from the dipped position automatically….. Power !!!

Told you it wouldnt help, but it’s true.

I reverse up to my garage and sometimes they stop dipping and I have to slow down again. Not with a caravan on though…

In all seriousness, I’ve not tried the button in the other position, that worked on my TD6, but you’ve already tried that.

Just nipped out, as you say, the button doesn’t do anything now. Looks like you will have to use the instrument cluster menu…. And the time that takes….

Orrrrr…. What if you adjust the dipped position to be up at the normal position, that way, the car thinks it’s dipped them but they are still where you want them?

Have to reset for without the caravan obviously.
